Digital daily activity program for people with dementia.
Our activity center is based on non-pharmacological treatment options. This includes, but is not limited to, meaningful routines, physiotherapy, occupational therapy,- and reminiscence therapy. We digitalize non-medication therapies and bring them home to caregivers and patients.
Non-pharmacological therapies are effective in maintaining cognition and functionality and reducing symptoms in people with dementia. Mild stages of dementia can gain benefits from certain interventions with regard to functional decline.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the non-pharmacological therapies?
Non-pharmacological therapies (non-medication treatments) refer to therapies that do not involve drugs. They rarely show negative effects and have a positive risk-benefit ratio. In Goldacare we particularly focus on physiotherapy and occupational therapy but also reminiscence therapy principles.
Why should I use Goldacare?
Non-drug therapies are intended to train or maintain cognitive abilities, improve or stabilize everyday skills and promote mental well-being. They can also curb difficult behaviors such as restlessness or irritability, or improve physical fitness.
However, the access for people with dementia to physiotherapists and occupational therapists is often hindered. Goldacare brings meaningful activities home to them.
Is there evidence that non-pharmacological therapies help?
While more research needs to be conducted, various studies and guidelines endorse the use of non-pharmacological therapie due to their positive benefit-risk ratio.
